Game Co-op Malmö is an economic association under Swedish law. Its purpose is to further the members' economic interests within the computer games industry, by supporting computer games-related initiatives. Furthermore, the association will work towards establishing Malmö as a central node in computer games in Sweden, the Nordic countries, and Europe.
     At this time, it is quite possible that the game.coop and games.coop websites will evolve into a community-development resource for games, from concept idea to digital distribution. It is also quite possible that the organisation will evolve into a network of initiatives and producers' co-operatives for computer games. Who knows? Let the market decide.
     Game Co-op Malmö has a series of development projects and initiatives, commercial as well as more idealistic. Where "idealistic" means something that makes long-term commercial sense, but most likely not this quarter. If even this decennium.
